REBUILD SELF-TRUST: THE 4 C'S
The 4 C's is a formula to follow that includes the necessary elements to rebuild self-trust along with, external relationships. The more you repeat the 4 C's, the more you'll start trusting yourself to weather storms and get through different points of pain and challenges. The 4 C's are also helpful as a reference point to navigate through relationships in ways the 4 C's can build a strong foundation and/or aren't present in the self or current relationship.
- CONSIDERATION
Are you considering your own feelings?
- CONSISTENCY
Are you consistent with yourself, how you treat yourself, boundaries, needs, and emotions?
- CONTEXT
Asking yourself questions to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your perspective.
- CONGRUENCY
Does what you say and do line up consistently?
If you share yourself with people and actually share your truth and needs, people can see you. They can know you and understand you better which, allows them to better consider you. When you hide the self, people please, refuse to be vulnerable and share our truth, silence your needs, or communications, people won't know how they are affecting you. When you focus the 4 C's onto yourself, alignment becomes 2nd nature and you create more room in bringing consideration, consistency, context and congruency into your relationships.
