EMOTIONAL WELLNESS PRACTICE TOOLS
1. Determine your top values based on your experiences of happiness, pride, and fulfillment
Aim for about 5-10 top values. As you discover what you deeply value and how it connects with your happiness, you may find that some values naturally combine. For example; perhaps you discover you value philanthropy, community, and generosity, then service to others might be one of your top values.
2. Prioritize your top values
This is the most important step. It invites you to look deep inside yourself and get clear about your top 5-10 values. Once you have a clear understanding, look at your first two values and ask yourself, "If I could satisfy one of these, which would I choose?
3. Re-affirm your values
Remind yourself of a time when you stood up for what’s important to you. Where are you making value-based decisions in your life and where can you start based on what is worthwhile for you.
