My Heart Bleeds
Oh, My Heart Bleeds;
it bleeds, it whimpers,
it shudders,
it shakes and shivers,
for you-
We strolled through life
at a pace, shy-
to sit so sweetly
in the smoky air against
those jagged rocks.
Hoisted high,
we laid enlaced
on white Quartz
and grey sandstone
as the sun,
basked in daylight-
Sheer streams,
of glistening evergreens
an amber summer stung.
The weighted wind,
traced tender temples
to peek,
a glimpse-
Your soft touch
of broken dreams
lay still,
on my heart of scars.
Oh, How My Heart Bleeds..
It bleeds in love, my Love-
Tell me, does my name
melt in your mind
like red velvet yearns?
How it cries out
for warm energy of lips
not yet tasted
but still reaches
for safe port and solace,
to be seen-
The desire,
vivid
A striking taste,
swirling
on the tongue of innocence.
Oh, My Heart Bleeds..
It bleeds,
with champagne twist
synergy suspended
steeped,
in the pool
of your hot springs,
buoyant,
in a magnitude of senses.
My heart, she bleeds...
Oh youth, forbidden!
Your story untold
and still unwritten.
Yet my path,
walked for nearly 15 years,
Alone-
So, here we sit,
you and me.
Inside the same skin-
A life already unfolded
and another,
still remains unspoken-
The day, she swept away
and the breeze,
stole your name
through sunlit leaves.
A memory perhaps,
Never to be Seen Again-
