HIGHLIGHT YOUR INNER VALUE
Sometimes the thought to compare yourself to others becomes greater than connecting with the value of who you are. - Tiny Poet

Life moves quickly and days are filled with many tasks. We apply so much time, energy, and focus into our relationships, jobs, and personal lives that we often neglect our own needs. Self-neglect and self-abandonment go hand in hand and often, lead to severe misalignments in what you value most. There is so much attention placed on other people/places/things that thoughts weigh heavy and spiral with confusion, self-doubt and bouts of self-punishment. Before you know it, you're suddenly cornered in states of comparisons, feeling trapped by deeper wound beliefs, thinking what went wrong or worse, find yourself wondering, "what's wrong with me?"
When you find yourself in states of comparison, you're actively focusing your precious energy into another's journey and way of being more than your own. You loose sight of yourself, your personal alignment, and temporarily trade in your own values for what's most important to another. This is a devastation and an obliteration of your own self image. Comparison is harmful because it disconnects you from who you are. When you disconnect from the self you abandon the self and that hurts. It also brings up feelings of jealousy, envy, shame and guilt which are incredibly painful. When thought patterns like, "I'm not good enough" or "I'm not doing enough" come to mind, it awakens old belief wounds around self-worth and inner value. Self-worth is the culmination of your values- the inner qualities that are most important to you and are of great value to your sense of self and overall experience of fulfillment. Self-value is fueled by this inner knowledge that helps you connect to the quality o who you are and align yourself accordingly in all things. Understanding your sense of worth and value require you to participate in your own understanding of who you are and all that you're made of. Once you harness that inner knowledge, you can redirect your energy back to your own journey and begin to understand the personal meaning of it all.
The experience of your intrinsic value has no comparison because it is unique and special to you. When you embrace the meaning of your worth and the Soul's purpose of your value, you are in sacred alignment. There is no question. There is no doubt. There is no less than or punishment because you set a personal standard in recognition of your overall goodness. Self-worth helps you know who you were created to be, who you are and inner-value helps you know your direction in alignment with all that you deserve.

6 STEPS TO SOOTH THE WORTH WOUND
1. SLOW DOWN AND CONNECT WITH YOUR BODY
If you get too far ahead of yourself you can't catch up with yourself. Slow down and take the time to breath in connection of what's alive inside you; your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and values. Get clear and anchor in the complete present experience not just what the wound belief might have triggered. Always come back to what you value, re-affirm your inner value to remember who you are and seek those greater alignments.
2. YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THE ACT OF COMPARING
The people you compare yourself to are also comparing themselves to others. This is a fact. The people that you think have it all together are also trying to figure things out themselves. We are all human and feel similar feelings. That knowledge can help soften judgements, personal punishments, and painful feelings while offering, a space for a greater sense of self-compassion. Comparisons takes you out of the present and being present helps you connect with where your focus is now. It helps you highlight what your current values are and gets you in touch with what's important to you right now. When you're clear to connect with the present moment, there is no need to focus on what other's are doing or have.
3. THERE IS MORE RIGHT WITH YOU THAN THERE IS WRONG
If you only focus on the flaws, you miss the beauty of the whole picture. Focus on progress rather than perfection and simplify your steps. Keep your sights on what's important to you and gaze toward the things that are working. Take time to praise your progress- keep a Victory log to stay motivated and inspired every step of the way.
4. YOUR SCARS ARE YOUR STRENGTHS
Your past will always be behind you. We tend to hide our past, try to avoid it, and sometimes, present ourselves to others in pretty little packages. We forget that past experiences are filled with personal wisdom that is available to us and is at the ready. I can guarantee, nobody has lived the life you have. You are incredibly unique and filled with astounding experiences. Take yourself in and embrace your full value. You've worked hard to move through where you were, to where you are now, and you'll continue on. Appreciating the value of your journey is your personal signature and gift to the world.
5. YOU ONLY NEED YOUR OWN APPROVAL
When you seek approval or validation from external sources you can easily be swayed or influenced. The only person responsible for deciding what's worthwhile for you- - is YOU. When you approve of your own choices and align them with what you value, you fuel your sense of worth and define what is deserving of your attention. Give yourself a chance and say, yes!
6. SPEAK TO WOUND BELIEFS IN REASSURING WAYS
You can't hate your way into a state of self-love just like you can't heal by bullying or punishing yourself. When you tell yourself you're not good enough it won’t make you any more successful. When you tell yourself you're further behind then others, it won't get you any closer to your goal. Self-love means you love yourself fully, regardless of who you were, where you came from and where you stand now, even if you know you want to change moving forward. Reassure and Love yourself through.

Jennifer
