HIGHLIGHT YOUR INNER VALUE
At times, the thought to compare the self to others becomes greater than connecting with the value of who you are. - Tiny Poet

Life moves quickly and sometimes, even ahead of you that the days can be long and with many tasks at the ready. You apply so much time, energy and focus into your business, your calling, your relationships, your job, your personal life, without much attention given to your-self. With so much attention on so many things, thoughts can weigh heavy. They move in and out of your mind throughout the day with confusion because some thoughts are great while others, can trigger wound beliefs that suddenly change the active experience of yourself and your life.
When you experience the sensations of envy or jealousy, you have invested more energy into another's journey than your own. When the thought pattern, "I'm not good enough" or "I'm not doing enough" comes to mind, it can awaken wounds around self-worth and inner value. With an active self-participation, you can redirect your energy back to your own journey and begin to understand the personal meaning of it all.

Self-worth is the opinion you have about yourself.
Self-value is more informative, it's fueled by self-knowledge.
It means, you feel a sense of worth because you know who you are.

The experience of your intrinsic value has no other comparison. When you embrace the meaning of your worth and purpose of your value, you don't settle. There is no question. You set a self-standard of respect, kindness, and overall goodness because you know it’s what you deserve.
6 STEPS TO SOOTH THE WORTH WOUND
1. Slow down and connect to your body.
If you get too far ahead of yourself you can't catch yourself. Slow down and take the time to consciously breath into the re-connection of what's alive inside you; your thoughts, feelings, memories, emotions and sensations in the body. Get clear and anchor in the complete experience, not just what the wound belief might trigger.
2. The people you compare yourself to are also comparing themselves to others.
This is a fact. The people you think have it all together, are also trying to figure things out too. We're all human and feel similar feelings. That knowledge can help soften judgements, feelings of envy or jealousy with a greater compassion and understanding. Being in the moment helps you connect with where your focus is today. It helps you highlight what your current values are and get in touch with what's important to you right now. When you're clear and connect with your moment, there's no need to focus on what other's are doing or have.
3. There is more right with you than wrong
If you only focus on the flaws, you miss the beauty of the whole picture. Focus on progress rather than perfection and simplify your steps. Keep your sights on what's important to you and gaze toward the things that are already working. Take time to praise your progress and keep a Victory log to stay motivated and keep yourself inspired every step of the way.
4. Your scars are your strength
Your past will always be behind you. We tend to hide our past, try to avoid it, and sometimes, present ourselves to others in pretty little packages and forget that past experience is filled with personal wisdom at the ready. I can guarantee, nobody has lived the life you have. You are incredibly unique and filled with astounding experiences. Take yourself in honestly and embrace your full value. You've worked hard to move from where you were, to where you are now, and you'll continue from here, to keep going. Appreciate your journey is your personal signature and gift to the world.
5. You only need your approval
When you seek approval or validation from other's, you can easily be swayed or influenced. This leads to feelings of emptiness. The only person responsible for deciding what's worthwhile for you, is YOU. When you approve of your own choices and align them with what you value, you fuel your sense of worth and define what is deserving of your attention. Give yourself a chance and say yes to you!
6. Speak to the wound belief in a reassuring way
You can't hate your way into loving yourself. When you tell yourself you're not good enough it won’t make you any more successful. When you tell yourself you're further behind then others, it won't get you any closer to your goal. Self-love means you love yourself fully, regardless of who you were, where you came from and where you stand now, even if you know you want to change moving forward. Reassure yourself and Love yourself through.

Jennifer
